ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Lynn
FAMILY
I'm a Wyoming Native, I was raised in Meeteetse, WY. My dad was a teacher in the Meeteetse Schools for 33 years, and my mom worked in banking. I grew up participating in 4-H for many years and was active in multiple activities including athletics and journalism throughout my high school years. I have many fond memories of life in a small town from the sense of family/community to the amazing outdoor recreation opportunities.
I moved to Sheridan in 1999 where I met my husband Kenny. We have two beautiful children, Jennifer and Garrett. As a family we have enjoyed countless weekends on the Big Horn Mountains and many hunting trips throughout Wyoming. Both of our children graduated from Big Horn High School. Jennifer has moved into education and has a passion for teaching social studies. During her time at Arizona State University she served as the College Republican's President. Garrett is currently attending the University of Wyoming and manages volleyball for the Cowgirls, as well as being a swing dance instructor.
Kenny & I became grandparents last year to baby Isabelle.
A THRIVING CAREER
After attending the University of Wyoming, I received a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 1992. I moved to Colorado in 1997, graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant school, and became licensed in the State of Wyoming. After moving to Sheridan in 1999, and working as a PTA for Wyoming Rehab, I moved into a leadership role in 2008 as the Contract Manager for Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Over the next 15 years, I had the opportunity to work on many projects with SMH. I was a key player in the development of the physician practice network, worked in many aspects of the construction expansions including the Welch Cancer Center, the ICU, and the Outpatient Center. Other projects I had the opportunity to be actively involved in were the build and implementation of Cerner, the electronic health record, and annual budgets including development of a capital budget process that had a multi-disciplinary approach.
In 2022, I joined Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in a leadership role as the Senior Director of Residential Services in the Residential Addiction Treatment Facility. The sense of pride that I have working in an environment that teaches individuals how to move towards a life in Recovery has been very rewarding and eye-opening to the challenges that Wyoming residents face.
